Louise Godbold

Louise Godbold is the Executive Director of Echo. Before joining Echo in 2010, she worked for over 15 years in the nonprofit field as a consultant for UC Berkeley, The California Endowment and Los Angeles County Alcohol and Drug Programs, as well as providing assistance to innumerable nonprofits with evaluation, strategic planning and creating research-based programming.

Louise is the developer and lead trainer for Echo’s professional development curriculum on trauma- and resiliency-informed practice. She is also a trauma survivor and Harvey Weinstein silence breaker. Since coming forward in October 2017, Louise has conducted trainings for sexual assault survivors and silence breakers in the entertainment industry and given TV and press interviews internationally on the topic of trauma and resilience.
