Lissette Feliciano
LISSETTE FELICIANO is a writer, director and graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts whose work often centers around socially conscious narratives. Her production company produces and directs social content and commercials for like minded agencies. Her most recent short film “With Children” premiered at Cinequest 2017, and LA Shorts. The short is a precursor to her first feature length narrative film “Women is Losers,” filming this Winter, which explores the world of a young latinx woman who’s unexpected pregnancy pushes her to become financially independent regardless of the social, gender and pay discrimination she endures in the age that will birth the women’s liberation movement. Last year, Lissette’s project “The Hand of God” was a Tribeca Film Institute “AT&T’s Untold Stories” recipient and was supported by the UNHCR. Lissette is an avid supporter of young women’s education and gender parity in film. She sits on the honorary committee of ICA Cristo Rey, an all girls high school that provides a private education to low income families. She is also the founder of “The Alice” the first full service women’s only co-living space opening in San Francisco May of 2019.
