Katie Welle

Katie Welle is SVP of A&R at RCA Records where she finds working across many genres an inspiring challenge; she handles a&r duties for a diverse mix of talent. Some of her projects include Kesha, who she’s worked with since her successful Rainbow album and country artist Cam. She’s also followed a passion for Latin Music since early in her career, with a hand in Becky G’s global takeover in addition to A&R’ing efforts for CNCO, Enrique Iglesias and Maluma. Her signings at RCA include Swedish indie icon Lykke Li, cult status rapper/singer Leikeli47 as well as promising newcomers Elley Duhe and Destiny Rogers. Before coming to RCA, Katie was VP, A&R for Sony ATV where she signed producer Jeff Bhasker, songwriter J Kash, and Tyler the Creator all at the beginnings of their careers. During this time her songplugging work placed records with Rihanna, Beyonce and Justin Beiber to name a few accomplishments. She was listed in 2019’s Billboard 40 under 40.
