Jeanette Volturno

Jeanette Volturno is the head of physical production for Blumhouse Productions, the multimedia company is known for pioneering a new model of studio filmmaking: producing high-quality micro-budget films.

Jeanette, who has more than 25 years of production experience, joined the company in 2012, reporting to founder Jason Blum, and has worked on over 60 feature films during her tenure at the company, including Halloween; Whiplash; Get Out; and franchises for Paranormal Activity, Happy Death Day, The Purge, Insidious and Ouija.

In 1999, she founded Catchlight Films, where she served as a producer and line producer for a wide variety of successful films. Prior to that, Volturno was one of two Americans recruited to create Tony and Ridley Scott’s company Mill Film in London. Jeanette started her career as a visual effects coordinator at Sony Pictures Imageworks.
