Freida Orange
Freida joined Rubenstein in 2013, bringing over a decade of strategic communications & production experience across film, television and digital platforms. Her recent clients include Refinery29, ACLU, The Orchard, STX Films’ Adrift and HBO Documentaries Say Her Name: The Life and Death of Sandra Bland.
Prior to joining Rubenstein, Freida worked at entertainment powerhouse PMK*BNC. Sher ran numerous film campaigns including Benh Zeitlin’s Beasts of the Southern Wild and Michael Rapaport’s Beats, Rhymes and Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest. Freida was Martin Scorsese’s on-set and executive assistant at Sikelia Productions through the Academy Award winning film The Departed, Rolling Stones: Shine A Light and Shutter Island. Beginning her film career at Miramax/Dimension, she handled talent strategy, publicity and awards campaigns for titles including Tarantino’s Kill Bill Vol. 2, AnthonyMinghella’s Cold Mountain, Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 911 and Scorsese’s The Aviator. Freida is a founding member of The Innocence Project’s Young Professionals Committee and a mentor for IFP’s Film Week and Screen Forward Lab. She graduated from the University of Georgia, where she holds an ABJ from the Grady School of Journalism. She is executive producer on Ann Lupo’s feature film In Reality, currently on the film festival circuit.
