Daphne Zuniga

Beloved by generations of movie goers and TV fans, Daphne Zuniga has appeared in over 50 feature films and television shows. This year, she made her directorial debut with Deadly Assistant, a thriller produced by Mar Vista Entertainment that aired on the LIfetime Movie Network. She is currently in pre-production on the indie feature The Waiting Room, which she will direct and appear in. This August, she starred alongside Jason Priestley in Gates Of Paradise, as part of the anthology VC Andrews series of films on Lifetime. Zuniga has appeared in such classic films as Mel Brooks’ Spaceballs, as Princess Vespa, and The Sure Thing, directed by Rob Reiner, opposite John Cusack. On television, she became a household name to millions of viewers as Jo Reynolds on the mega-hit series, Melrose Place, and, later, starring on CW’S popular One Tree Hill as Victoria Davis, the scheming mother of Brooke, played by Sophia Bush. Early credits include a co-starring role in CBS’s Stone Pillow opposite Lucille Ball in Ball’s last performance, Vision Quest for Warner Brothers and Gross Anatomy for Walt Disney Studios, both with Mathew Modine. Zuniga has also starred in several highly rated movies for Lifetime and Hallmark television, including On Strike for Christmas, Gone Missing, A Family Thanksgiving and Mail Order Bride. Her work in independent films has taken her to Mumbai, India for Heartbeats, a feature film by Step Up’s Duane Adler and includes appearances in Those Left Behind and Search Engines, films which premiered and garnered awards at film festivals.
