Cassidy Lange
As Co-President of Production at MGM, Cassidy Lange is responsible for growing the studio’s film slate and leveraging its storied library to expand MGM’s franchises and existing IP, as well as developing high-profile original productions.
Lange joined MGM in 2011 as SVP of Development and Production, and during her tenure she has shepherded films including the recently released animated-comedy The Addams Familystarring Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloë Grace Moretz and Finn Wolfhard; The Hustleaction-comedy starring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson, which has gone on to earn more than $95M at the global box-office; Me Before You, based on Jojo Moyes’ international best-seller, which went on to gross $200M worldwide; the action thriller Tomb Raider starring Academy Award winner Alicia Vikander which grossed $273M in worldwide box office receipts; Overboard starring Anna Faris, Eugenio Derbez and Eva Longoria, which became a hit with audiences, taking in $50M in the U.S. alone and was the biggest opening for a comedy in Mexico ever; and the family-action adventure Max, starring Academy Award nominee Thomas Haden Church.
Lange is currently in development on the 25th installment of the iconic James Bond franchise,No Time To Die, starring Daniel Craig and directed by Cary Fukunaga, as well as the third chapter of the Legally Blonde franchise with Academy Award winner Reese Witherspoon.
Lange has previously held positions at Fox Atomic and Spyglass Entertainment where she co-produced and oversaw Sony Pictures’ romantic drama, The Vow, starring Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams, which grossed $125M at the domestic box office.
A graduate of Duke University, Lange currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter.
