Jenniffer Gómez
Jenniffer Gómez is a rising Queer Latinx writer who has come up through scripted television and indie filmmaking. Born in San Juan, PR, she spent four years in Boston where she received a BA in English from Boston College. She later moved West to Los Angeles to pursue an MFA in Screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television. Upon graduating, she began as an assistant and script coordinator on shows like Castle, Hit The Floor, Black Sails, and Power. In 2012, she quit her job as an assistant to do a cross-country documentary on a group of undocumented youth who walked from San Francisco to Washington, D.C. for immigrant rights. The documentary, American Dreamers, premiered at the 2015 LA Film Festival and received distribution by Gravitas Ventures. Most recently, she completed production on Spanish Language romantic comedy, Amor en 266 Millas, which is expected to premiere theatrically in Puerto Rico. She’s currently a Staff Writer on Vida.
