Alysia Reiner

Best known as “Fig” on ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK, Alysia Reiner won a SAG Award as part of the cast, and is in ALL 6 seasons. Reiner also plays SUNNY in all seasons of  F/X’s critically acclaimed and Peabody Award winning BETTER THINGS, D.A. PARKS on HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER, and KIK on HBO’s THE DEUCE, and will soon start shooting Athena in ABC’s new show THE FIX.

Her motherhood dark-comedic feature EGG, which she produced and stars in with Christina Hendricks and Anna Camp, just premiered at Tribeca Film Festival 2018. Additionally, Alysia produced and stared in EQUITY, bought/distributed by Sony Pictures Classics at Sundance 2016. EQUITY was Alysia’s first feature as both actress and producer, but she has acted in countless critically acclaimed and award winning films and shows; dozens and dozens of episodes of television and over 30 features, working with film masters like “Sideways” director Alexander Payne, Jodie Foster, Richard Loncraine, Matt Weiner, Jenji Kohan, and many more.

Alysia loves working as a change maker for women and is passionately committed to protecting the environment (see livariclothing.com!). This past year she has been honored with the VOICE OF A WOMAN AWARD, the MOVES POWER WOMAN AWARD, the PIONEER IN FILMMAKING AWARD, and the FOUNDERS AWARD FOR SUPPORT, as well as just receiving a MUSE MADE IN NY AWARD from The Mayor’s office and NY Women in Film and Television.
