Alexandra Henry
Alexandra Henry Recently selected for SHOOT Magazine’s New Directors Showcase 2019, Alexandra Henry is a multilingual emerging director with over 12 years of international experience in film and branded entertainment. She showcases her passion for art, music, and languages through photography and her on-going documentary film project ‘Street Heroines’, which features female street artists from all over the world. She has been twice-recognized as a CurateNYC Emerging Artist and her photographs have been internationally exhibited and published in various magazines.
Alexandra also specializes in producing branded content and is currently at PepsiCo’s in-house content studio where she has produced dozens of projects including: the global docuseries ‘Cantera 5v5’ for Gatorade, branded content films for Alexander Wang x Pepsi China, the official TV commercial for the Pepsi and Lionsgate co-production ‘Uncle Drew: The Movie’, and ‘StrEats of the World’ a global campaign for Lay’s.
Based in New York City, she was born in Alexandria, Virginia and raised near Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Traveling the world, including stints in London / Mexico City / Los Angeles / Barcelona / Paris / Lima / São Paulo / Hong Kong / Lisbon, her body of creative work explores the human experience through architecture, graffiti, and unembellished details of densely populated areas. She received her B.A. in Diplomacy & World Affairs from Occidental College and speaks Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, French, and Italian.
