Amy Banse

Amy Banse is the Head of Funds and Managing Director at Comcast Ventures. She has 30 years of experience investing in, acquiring, and building companies. At Comcast, she led investments in E!, The Golf Channel, NBC Sports Networks and launched Sprout (now Universal Kids). She was the founder of Comcast’s digital media division, Comcast Interactive Media driving the acquisition of Fandango and overseeing the development of Xfinity TV. In 2011, she moved to San Francisco to head up Comcast Ventures. Under her leadership, the firm has grown to include more than 150 portfolio companies in a wide range of industries across consumer, enterprise, and frontier tech. Comcast Ventures invests in early and later stage startups and has offices in San Francisco, New York, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles.
